Yesterday and Today

Over 55 years in the Injection Plastics industry

Injection Plastics Mfg., formerly known as TIPCO, was founded in 1969 in Tippecanoe, Indiana. Robert Strang Sr and his father Samuel Strang started the business in a small pole building. In 1972, the company expanded and moved to a new location in LaPaz Indiana. Around 1977 the name of the company was changed to Injection Plastics Mfg. Injection Plastics Mfg. remained in the same location until 2010. Expansion and new highway construction forced another move, this time just a mile down the road to a brand new 22,500 sq.ft. building at the current location. So in the span of just 43 years, an idea between father and son has expanded from a small pole building with just 2 employees part-time, to a corporation that now employs 12 people full time.
